Not too many takers on pulling out the seeds! Loose parts assembly. Love this picture of Stanley experimenting with a ramp. He probably sent this truck down 40+ times.
Just this week our buddy Stan has discovered the joy of climbing into our inside loft and our outside climber. He is all smiles when up high looking out. Harlow joined us and also would slide down the slide so she could catch Stan when he slid down.
One of our favorite songs right now is The Monster Mash. Outside In the sun! Stanley climbed up in the climber for the first time here! The view from the top of the slide with sweet Ada ready to catch you!
Every once in a while we have a day where everyone just seems a little off. Today was one of those days. Most of our crew had some crabby pants on so we needed to slow things down and try to breath and relax. We started out with some yoga and stretching. Then we went out for a Fall walk making sure to take some big breaths of cool air. We collected some acorn “hats” for a project we have coming up. Then we walked back home cruching leaves with our feet and noticing the changing colors. Today was tough, but tomorrow will be better.
We used fabric from furniture samples to make rugs and blankets for our fairy house. Stanley experimented with this ramp and tried multiple vehicles to see which ones worked. This little lady is such a climber!!

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
