Today in the world of fishing, everyone got a lesson on casting. We had a little practice fish on the end of our pole and everyone took turns reeling it back in.
All of the friends came together to make, drive and sing "The Wheels on the Bus!"
Popsicles after lunch! Olivia is my #1 garden weeder. She talks to them and tells to stay out of the garden. When one decides to do a puzzle, almost everyone joins in! Lots of pieces everywhere but we eventually get them all in the correct spaces.
Josie and Ada chose to construct with wood pieces and jewels. The designs were very beautiful! It Was great one-to-one correspondence practice.
We continue to learn about fish. We watched a short video of a 6-year-old pulling in a big one! We watched them weigh and examine the fish before throwing it back in to the water. Then we painted our own Rainbow Fish that we will hang in our environment. We journeyed over to the school park again this morning per Ayden's request. The children were very confident in their climbing skills today and tried some sections of the climber they had not done before. The children accepted the risk and were very successful and quite proud!
We played Animal BINGO together and determined which letter each animal started with. It's super fun to find our names are in different books that we read. Deb shared with Henry that there is a candy bar with his name in it. He couldn't believe it, until she showed up with one today! Look at that happy guy!

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
