I have been sharing with the children about the chickens we are caring for while their owner is gone. There is also one very protective rooster that is giving me a hard time! We walked over today to see them, from a distance, and so they could meet them.
Today we tried out sounds Bingo. We listened to a sound and if we had the item that makes that sound of our card we could mark it.
We had peanut butter toast at breakfast which started us on a discovery of who likes creamy peanut butter and who likes crunchy. It was a close call. Ghost making.
The falling burning bush leaves provide some natural loose parts for creative imaginary play. Here our crew is collecting leaves for “red soup.” So many skills are being practiced including colors, shapes, comparing and contrasting, sharing, cooperation, modeling and of course imagination. Peek a boo!! Food group lotto.
