Ada’s request for her cake today was a rainbow unicorn cake and Deb did great! We had unicorn and rainbow marshmallows on top of the icing. Ada was pleased. It was so nice out today!
Every year weike to get an Amaryllis and measure how it grows. Children often understand measurement not by numbers, but by units. We are using unified cubes to measure and today our plant is 10 cubes tall.
Here we thought that construction was done until Spring and then they surprised us today! Looks like sewer work is happening Also on our walk Lucy asked a really great question, “why do the green pine needles not fall off like the other leaves?”
It’s not my favorite time of year to play outside with the kiddos. There just isn’t a whole lot to do with it being so cold and dry. We are anxiously awaiting being able to sled! Bring on the snow!
