The sidewalks are done so we had to try them out. We found lots of adventure on the way. We made pies for lunch. Wikki Stix. Phonics sorting boxes.
Want to know a trick to get your child to eat? Give them chopsticks! Doctors working up in the loft. Stanley playing with the marble ramp. Jingle bells with Asher.
Today when we were heading to the construction site to “supervise” we discovered there weren’t any workers!!! This was awesome because we could go up the big machines we have been watching and check them out. They were huge! We noticed some have wheels and some have treads. We found that all the children could fit in one scoop!
I found some pretty awesome games at St. Vinney’s last night! The whole crew was able to participate! We also pulled out “Jingle Bells” today! Everyone was moving and jingling!!
We absolutely had to supervise the road construction again today since we’ve heard so many trucks going by, but it’s freezing out! So we did the full gear bundle! Snow pants, coats, boots, hats and mittens! We felt great and were able to stay and watch for a while.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
