Here are a few of our Halloween activities. We did some spider counting. We use our small motor muscles to hammer golf tees into some pumpkins. We ate off of Jack o lantern plates! ![]()

Our Trunk or Treat group was amazing! We had a few snow flurries to prepare us for the big day but we had a great time.
"Why can't they stick together?"
"They want to snap together!" "Why is there an N and a S on this magnet?" "These are hard to pull apart!" We had a talk this morning about skeletons and how each one of us has a skeleton inside of our body that holds us up. We felt the bones in our different parts. Then we got to work assembling this skeleton puzzle.
There are so many spooky (and confusing when you're a toddler) decorations in our neighborhood. The children couldn't just walk by this house. They needed to stop and observe all of these crazy skeletons. There were skeleton legs hanging from the tree. One little guy asked "but where is his head?" Another friend replied "over there by the garden!"

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
