For our game today we handed out alphabet balls so each of the children had 3-4. Then we started with A and whoever had that ball had to throw it and make a basket in the bucket. We continued all the way to Z. "Again, again!" So we handed them all out and started over again.
Ayden told me that he was a sweet Daddy feeding his baby under the loft his morning. That is one lucky baby! The children took part in a study conducted by the University studying children's memory. They each received a book for their work. It was interesting to see how they responded to the students that' came. They were pretty excited! Yogi Lucy!
The children informed me that we have lots of sick friends today! Everybody had to take a turn laying down and getting checked out. There were fevers to bring down, ear infections to medicate and hearts to be listened to.
Doga was very busy today keeping an eye on the temperature rising and recording what time we saw changes. Also busy reading the calendar and recording the day. Reading Tad and Dad with Deb.
We took a trip to Franklin Elementary this morning to visit Doga's kindergarten. We learned there will be 400 kids in his school and 20-22 in his class. We also met Mrs. Z the principal. He will have a great playground!
Hello to our newest friend, Piper's sister Harlow! She came for a visit today and we loved her so so much! She was smiling most of the time, giggling at our silly group. Piper was so good to her sister and checked in with her often. Harlow will be joining us full time in August!!
These long tubes are called Boomwhackers. We listened very closely for the lyric that says "Boom boom aint it great to be crazy!" And banged them on the floor. Rob sat on the floor and began reading. He always gets lots of friends to join him!

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
