Each Spring a new set of littles seek out and conquer getting to the top of the climber. Today it was E. And after the first time, he did it over and over and over again!
Meet our friend Bob. Bob is a very brave squirrel who comes daily to indulge in our bird seed that includes peanuts and corn. He also seems to enjoy antagonizing our black furry brothers. He's lucky there is a window there!

I enjoy a fresh batch of play-doh and some open-ended tools and manipulative. Children come up with some great ideas on how to use these items. And they don't need us to be constantly helping to make things in only one way. There is no right way!
This was a fun way to work on letter recognition! Each child had a small egg that they placed in the egg carton. We closed it up and shook it, then opened it up to see what hole it landed in. Then the children helped each other identify what letter was associated with that hole.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
