I added a pulley system to our environment where the children pull a rope to bring a bucket to the top. Harlow and Lucy experimented with it and were checking out what they could transport. Kisses for the baby. Lots of games to keep us busy today.

Whata difference a day makes! We explored our winter wonderland this morning! It was very chilly so not everyone made it the whole time but many were loving checking things out and climbing snow mountains. If snow were a food group we would have had that one covered today for sure!
These two walked around together with their shades saying “cool dudes!” And all of the emotion coaching is sooo worth it! Stan was upset about something and when he walked over to the kitchen, Asher came over and rested his hand on his chest and said “Stanley is sad?” Then gently rubbed his hand on him. Stanley calmed and stood there receiving the love! So amazing!!
These littles were helping us color a zoo today! We made big circles for the cages and paths to each one. Sliced oranges for breakfast. Oh no! What happened to Wesley’s teeth?!? Ellie always “helps” with meal prep!
100 piece puzzle assembly! Every time we dance, these guys get dressed for it! Green light, red light.
We’ve been talking a lot about our lines and curves that make our names again so we had to have Mat Man visit! For those that don’t know, he is part of the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum. Every letter in our alphabet can be made with the shapes that make Mat Man.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
