This is an activity that we do to learn not only to identify capital letters from lower case letters but also to make sure they are oriented correctly. The girls filled the whole line with the letters and then did their happy dance! Mama Ada reading to Wesley.

It was so exciting to see everyone again after our long break! The children had so much to share with each other and we talked about all of the people that we got to see and all of the treats that we got to eat.
It was another rainy day so we had many activities to keep our bodies busy. One that was a total hit was painting with shaving cream. We used our hands to smear the creme on the table and then used our fingers and brushes to draw in it. Look at these smiles! The children kinda love when Owen is home from school! He would sit and read to them all day! Owen loved that she fell asleep next to him!
We had some wiggles after lunch so we decided to do some yoga to calm down before nap. Here are the children doing some breathing.
How lucky are we to enjoy almost 70-degree weather mid November! The children were so happy to be out with the sun shining on us! "I made my L!"
The children have been exploring things that sink and things that float. We learned that rocks, marbles, glass and shells sink while cork, ping pong balls and foam float.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
