Today was Stanley's last day as an active Dragonfly. He will become a bumblebee tomorrow and move on to the world of kindergarten. We wish him the best of luck as he meets new friends and starts new adventures. We are thankful we still have Lily so we can hear how things are going.

1.2" of rain last night made from some fantastic wet chalk drawings! Also lots of vessels to capture water for us to scoop and dump.
I asked Theo how he was doing on his first day back. We got a thumbs up. Today was the last day where our numbers allowed us to travel so we made a trip to the splash pad! It was the perfect day to enjoy the cool water and warm sunshine.
"Shannon! These two bears together balance out this one bear!" "An 8 bear with a 4 bear weighs the same as a 12 bear" Stanley making tunnels for our pretend snakes.
Today we enjoyed our biggest group of friends in a while. Hudson was watching the big mower along with Bucky and Brewer. There was a lot of creative play in groups. We found a very large dump truck at the school and discovered it has 14 tires!! We had to make a stop at the school playground and also noticed in our yard that the huge hydrangea's are blooming with their spectacular flower clusters.
The most wonderful secretary called to let us know she could bring us on a tour of the inside of Stanley's school. Wow was it wonderful! So many amazing spaces to learn about. And the school mascot is a prairie dog so they have Pickle and Sunflower in the office to welcome everyone!
We were very excited to visit Pope Farm School also known as Stanley's new school! It is a beautiful place and we give two thumbs up to the playground and it's three level climber! There wasn't anyone in the office today to give us a quick tour but we may be able to go back tomorrow and see an actual kindergarten classroom.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
