Lily has been loving up her baby so we brought out a stroller. Which then was followed up by everyone needing a stroller. We are again chicken sitting for our neighbors. We walked over to say "hi" to the girls. Naptime stories.
Welcome back from Spring Break friends! We were so excited to see each other again. It was a warm but very windy day! We explored using magnifying sheets in the sun to see how they made our toys look. Luke and Theo had a worm farm going on. Lily said "baby" to her little friend about 100 times!
We went from being little eggs on a leaf, to larva, to caterpillars, sleeping in a chrysalis, and turning into beautiful butterflies! Butterfly construction. The cranes and the geese are back!
We continued to examine and describe different types of bugs. We took pile of different bugs and brainstormed ways we could sort them into piles of "same." We counted legs, looked at colors or body composition, we thought about the behavior of each bug. Today we bowled! We anticipated some rain today and needed a way to move our whole bodies.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
