We snuck in one of our morning walks after breakfast with the goal of observing critters. Lots of robins were greeting us and also this little slimey dude.

The children got quite involved in setting up a clinic for their animals this morning. Stanley and Lily were reception and checked animals in. Number identification, matching, counting and one-to-one correspondence all wrapped up in one activity.
This is a fantastic activity for strengthening hands and also learning and practicing letter formation. Squishing and rolling our new play dough feels pretty amazing.
We already shared this awesome project when we first started exploring owls but our friend Luke is visiting during spring break and was curious to see what he could find. Our children who had already opened owl pellets were the experts and helped Luke learn what to do. This was the best pic we could get of the elusive Eli. Theo wanted a picture with his brother and Hudson to show they all arrived in matching sweatshirts today!
New, soft and warm play dough today! The children wanted rainbow colors so each friend chose what they would like. We had pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple!
After our week off we came back to am amazing spring day! This week is Verona spring break so we will have a lighter load of kiddos. Everyone who arrived today was so excited to share in their adventures and greet their buddies.
There was lots of excitement this morning around the new, fresh snow! It was pleasant outside and the snow was packable so we were very happy, We were so happy to see DD the dog today! She will be hanging out with us this week while her family is on vacation.
