Today is our buddy Ty’s last day at “Shannon’s school!” He’s graduating to his new big boy school. But he won’t be far so we hope he comes back to visit and let us know how’s he doing. Best of luck Ty!!

The children saw on the calendar that it is Owen’s birthday. You definitely can’t have a birthday without sharing some cake!
We checked back in with my neighbors chickens. She is out of town and we are helping to feed and water them. The children were so excited. Harlow has a few that follow her and allow her to pick them up.
With the new county guidelines Deb and I need to be masked during the day when inside with the children. Children under the age of five are not required to wear masks but they do like to have access to them so they can practice with us as well.
Another morning of chasing concrete mixers! We were mesmerized by this conveyor they used to get the concrete where it needed to go.
We experimented with the sun rays today and used leaves on top of Sun Art paper. We watched the sun turn the paper colors but noticed the leaves blocked the rays. Resting in the shade. We have a crawler...and soon to be a climber! Sewing.
This game called Bellz is super silly. You use a magnet wand to just get your color bells. Stanley counted that he got 10 blue bells. We have been loving watching our bird friends outside make nests in the birdhouses and following their progression from laying eggs to feeding babies to flying away. Today we made mini houses to take home.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
