We refilled the bird seed this morning. Ty and Luke asked to see the seeds up closer so we got out the magnifying glasses. Deb’s favorite seafood is lobster so she brought in the shell off one she enjoyed this weekend so the children could feel it. Some didn’t want to touch it and some were fascinated. So much rain outside meant it was a yoga day inside!
Holy cow was this exciting! We noticed a piece of machinery at the end of our street and had to check it out. It had a big flattening attachment on it. Sun bathing.
This guy has been visiting us frequently. The children have named him Bob. When we are out on a walk most of the neighborhood knowS about it! “Firetruck!” Harlow makes some incredible architecture! “I have this letter. Do you have this letter?”
Dr. Luke and assistant Theo helping Wesley. Our squirrel buddy is dining on some bird seed! Sand + melting snow= so much fun!!!
We were gifted some very soft and cuddly carpet squares this weekend. The children enjoyed taking off their socks and running their feet through themas well as laying on them and rubbing their cheeks against it. Pin the glasses on the llama!

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
