![]() Look at all of these cuties in their pajamas! We are celebrating our friend Beckett. He will be heading out for a few months but returning to us in the Fall. We love our buddy but will be in contact often.

More outdoor pics I know. But we are wanting to get out as quick as possible on these warm days. Interestingly the more time we spend outside, the more imaginary and complex play I am seeing. Children are moving heavy loads throughout the yard with trucks and equipment, playing restaurant and house by "cooking" for each other, counting and making up songs together while swinging, and Deb and Theo made a pretty amazing snow castle wall!
It is amazing outside. We are getting hot so off came the mittens. The snow actually felt great on our hot hands.
Luke and Theo had some extra dinosaur eggs at their house so they brought them in to share with their friends. Luke led the group in the excavation to show them what to do.
We have started to incorporate a small amount of OSMO time during the day. This is a great learning tool for helping children engage with learning math, writing, drawing, spelling, colors, shapes, coding and many more skills. The children work together with one leader and solve different problems. I love to supervise and listen to the discussions on what to do.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
