We usually have a tradition at this time of year where our daycare day finishes up, the siblings get dropped off, and moms and dads have the evening to do some holiday shopping or wrapping and enjoy each other and the silence. This is the second year that we have not been able to do this in the best interest of keeping everyone healthy for their family celebrations. But today we did a small version in that we dressed in jammies and watched the Polar Express together.

We love these little writing boards that you can write with a stylus and then press and button and it disappears! We worked on tracing pictures and tracing letters.
The children were very interested in these puzzles. They had to locate shapes, color them a certain color and count how many there were of each shaped ornament.
Velcro rollers and a felt board. Thanks to Beckett's dad for the leftover dry ice from school! It was amazing! The children were amazed when it started pouring out over the table. Then we added bubbles to pop and see the smoke coming out.
We are trying to get used to wearing so much winter gear! It's hard to move around especially when just learning to walk.
This new 1-year-old sure lit up and smiled when we sang Happy Birthday to him! Happy day to you buddy! Snow is so exciting! Trying our best to do all of the snow activities with very little snow. (:
Claire was working her little fingers, trying to stand up all the people in our basket. The boys were watching and chatting about what they were observing. These three tend to travel around together and work on things together.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
