We are ready for the flowers to begin blooming! We read about the journey of one little seed as it found just the right place to grow. Then we looked at how author Eric Carle made the pictures in his book. We used our fingers to rip out the shapes for our flowers and make a garden. We walked to check on the cranes nesting in our marsh.

The grandchildren think of multiple ways the buttons could get sorted back into the compartments of the box. We decided that today we would sort our button box by color.

Construction season is beginning and the Dragonfly Inspection Service is amping up to supervise all projects within walking distance.

We had a small crew today and we have been wanting to check on the baby orangutan so we took a quick trip to visit the animals.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
