This is what the girls shared with me after coming in from the rain! The rain was so amazing and so hard! We had to get the umbrellas and go check it out.
Check out these smart ladies! Each colored bubble has two number dice and a dice with + and - on it. The girls would shake the bubble and set it down. They would write the math problem that was shown in the bubble. Then, using little animals, the would represent that problem. So for example, if they got 4+2=? they would put down 4 animals, then 2 more and count it out to see how many. Then using our number line as a guide, they would write the answer. This is very challenging and they nailed it! So proud of them and their hard work! Wesley's full body sand experience! The table washing boys before lunch today!
It was our first day exploring our new addition machine! I would select out a certain number of blue balls and green balls. The children would dump out the cups into the funnel which would then lime them up under the number line to find out what the total was.
A few of Asher’s favorite things are mops and vacuums! The Dragonfly Theatre was open today! That is one crazy puppet on the left!
Pretty exciting to see the tractor at the park today! Our garden is producing! Countng for hide-and-seek.
These early girls put our alphabet bags in order from A to Z! Wesley was happy to be in the dumping position. And Asher was filling.

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
