Yesterday Doga, Henry and Ayden joined me for a baseball game that Owen was playing in. Today it was the big girls day to come to the library. Lots to do at the Verona Library!

Such simple tools kept little fingers busy all morning! We used our fingers, thumbs and even our bellies to push golf tees into this big piece of foam. We created patterns and designs in the foam. While we were at the school playing, a big dump truck surprised us and delivered new wood chips for the playground. We climbed the mountain!
The children asked if we could go on a frog hunt today to see if we could find more of the little guys we saw yesterday. We found lots! Along with some awesome concrete breaking at the school! Check out our sensory table at pick-up!
The little frogs have arrived!🐸. We have checked almost weekly to see if they have emerged from the pond and today was the day! The children were mostly gentle with the little creatures and giggled when they hopped in their hands. Alphabet building.
Re-creating what we saw in the sky for fireworks! Lots of glittery rainbow sparkles! Fishing for letters!

Shannon Davis- Family Child Care provider"Family child care is not babysitting. It's not comparable to any child care center. It's families, in relationships with a professional care provider in an environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people partnering, trusting, caring and educating each other."
